Memory Page Ideas For Your Bullet Journal

I’ve made several attempts throughout my life to develop a habit of journaling in the traditional sense. My life is pretty unexciting so every time I pulled out a journal to write about my day, I found I had nothing to write about. The main reason I wished to maintain a diary over the years was because I wanted to keep a record of good memories. My laziness got in the way though. Writing about my day was boring and time-consuming– which is why I think memory pages in a bullet journal is a brilliant idea.

Its very concise; in some cases not even requiring words. Some people use photos with short captions:

Another type of memory page would be to draw little doodles or pictures in place of these photos. I would prefer this method as printing out photos frequently can be expensive.

This style can also be used when you want to write down a memory for nearly every day of the month.

If keeping a daily record of memories is something you want to do, you could try this calendar-like layout page:

I also love this weekly layout where the person has dedicated one side of the page to write down and doodle about each day’s memory.

You could get really creative with your memory page by making it a mix of typography and doodles. It makes for a very unique and eye-catching layout.

The following example of a memory page is a brilliant idea. It incorporates drawings as well as text, but it has been styled like a mind-map.
