The Dutch door in bullet journaling is inspired by the actual Dutch doors, which were originally designed in 17th century Netherlands for farmhouses.
In bullet journaling, we use dutch doors when there isn’t enough space to fit all the days, lists or logs that we want within a page spread.
Dutch doors serve a very practical purpose but a lot of BuJo enthusiasts use it as decorative element. Here are some examples for your viewing pleasure:
